Let’s face it. Gluten-free food is expensive and can put a dent in your pocketbook. So, if you’re anything like us, you (1) do without; (2) do-it-yourself (that is, bake it yourself!); or (3) look for brands that offer coupons for gluten-free food. But where are the best places to find coupons or discounts on your favorite brands?
To help answer this question, we’ve compiled a list of brands that regularly offer coupons for gluten-free food items. A host of brands also offer discounts or coupons when shoppers subscribe to their newsletters. For shoppers willing to seek them out, you certainly can find some bargains.
Note: This list continues to be a work-in-progress, so please check back on this site often as we discover and add more coupon-offering brands. To help us compile a more complete list, please drop a note in the comments below if you know of other brands that offer coupons for gluten-free food.
Brand websites are a good place get coupons for gluten-free food
You can often find a treasure trove of useful content and information on websites of gluten-free food brands and other “free from” manufacturers. Content typically includes healthy lifestyle articles, recipe suggestions, and cooking and baking tips. Manufacturer coupons are another special find. Coupons are typically worth around $1.00 off. The discounts can add up when a loaf of gluten-free bread costs $7.00, $8.00, $9.00 or more nowadays.
To access gluten-free food coupons though, there’s usually a small catch. A give-and-take if you will. Manufacturers often will require you to register for a newsletter or join a “club” before accessing a downloadable coupon. While you as the consumer may need to relinquish a bit of information (e.g., name, address, email), the benefits can be worthwhile. Newsletters often are rife with useful information and frequently contain special offers and coupons.
On the flip side, manufacturers benefit from offering coupons and special deals as well. By requiring consumers to register before a coupon download, manufacturers gain useful information on gluten-free shoppers, which they can then analyze and turn into actionable insights. One intention could be to send shoppers more customized content and personalized offers in the future.
Manufacturer coupons also are a handy marketing tool to help create awareness of new items and encourage the trial of those new items. This is important in the gluten-free space where shoppers make a pretty hefty investment for each product they buy – that is, gluten-free products typically cost a lot, at least much more than their gluten-filled counterparts.
